Miss Grand Spain 2016 is the 1st [1] edition of Miss Grand Spain beauty contest, held at Teatro de la Villa del Conocimiento y las Artes, Mairena del Alcor on 18 July 2016. The Miss Grand Spain 2016 is Adriana Sánchez Rivas from Málaga crowned her successor, Adriana Sánchez Rivas then represented Spain at the Miss Grand International 2016 pageant held on October 25 in United States.[2]

Miss Grand Spain is a national female beauty pageant in Spain that has been held annually since 2016 to select the country representatives to compete in Miss Grand International pageant. Its inaugural edition was held in Seville with 24 provinces and autonomous communities participating; in which Adriana Sánchez Rivas of Málaga won the main title. The pageant has been owned by Vicente Gonzalez since the establishment.

Miss Grand International 2016 was the 4th Miss Grand International pageant, held at the Westgate International Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States on 25 October 2016. being the first occasion in the history of the contest that this moves to the American continent, and candidates from 74 countries and autonomous territories around the world competed for the title. At the end of the event Claire Elizabeth Parker, Miss Grand International 2015 of Australia crowned Ariska Putri Pertiwi of Indonesia as Miss Grand International 2016. It is Indonesian's first victory of the country in the pageant's history.
