Miss Grand Thailand 2022 is the ninth edition of the Miss Grand Thailand beauty contest, held on 30 April 2022 at Show DC Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The coronation was initially scheduled in August 2021, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was rescheduled twice, first in late-2021, and later to 2022. At the end of the event, the appointed Miss Grand Thailand 2021, Indy Johnson of Pathum Thani, crowned her successor, Engfa Waraha of Bangkok, a former contestant on the 2018/2019 The Voice Thailand, making her the first representative of the capital city to win the title. Engfa represented the country at Miss Grand International 2022, where she placed as 1st Runner-Up.

Miss Universe Thailand 2021 was the 22nd edition of the Miss Universe Thailand pageant. It was held on October 24, 2021 at the NICE of Nong Nooch Tropical Garden in Pattaya, Thailand. Miss Universe Thailand 2020, Amanda Obdam, crowned Anchilee Scott-Kemmis as her successor at the end of the event. She represented Thailand at the Miss Universe 2021 competition held in Eilat, Israel but was unplaced.

Luiseth Emiliana Materán Bolaño is a Venezuelan actress, journalist, TV host, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was appointed as Miss Universe Venezuela 2021. She represented the state of Miranda at the Miss Venezuela 2020 pageant and represented Venezuela in Miss Universe 2021, in Eilat, Israel. In 2022, she represented Venezuela at Miss Grand International 2022, in Jakarta, Indonesia where she placed 3rd Runner Up.

She was previously known for her first appearance on the seventh season of the Voice Thailand In 2022, she won the national contest of Miss Grand Thailand 2022 as the representative of the capital city Bangkok,. She represented Thailand at Miss Grand International 2022 held in Indonesia on 25 of October, where she placed as first runner up.

It has a population over 5 million, mostly residing to the east side of the city centre, and its inhabitants are commonly referred to as "Melburnians".

Bangladesh, officially the People's Republic of Bangladesh, is a country in South Asia. It is the eighth-most populous country in the world, with a population now exceeding 170 million people in an area of 148,460 square kilometres (57,320 sq mi). Bangladesh is among the most densely populated countries in the world, and shares land borders with India to the west, north, and east, and Myanmar to the southeast; to the south it has a coastline along the Bay of Bengal. Gazipur is a city in central Bangladesh. It is located in the Gazipur District. It is a major industrial city 25 km (16 mi) north of Dhaka. It is a hub for the textile industry in Bangladesh. Its other name is Joydebpur.

Belarus, officially the Republic of Belarus, is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe. It is bordered by Russia to the east and northeast, Ukraine to the south, Poland to the west, and Lithuania and Latvia to the northwest. Covering an area of 207,600 square kilometres (80,200 sq mi) and with a population of 9.2 million, Belarus is the 13th-largest and the 20th-most populous country in Europe. The country has a hemiboreal climate and is administratively divided into seven regions. Minsk is the capital and largest city.

Belgium, officially the Kingdom of Belgium, is a country in Northwestern Europe. The country is bordered by the Netherlands to the north, Germany to the east, Luxembourg to the southeast, France to the southwest, and the North Sea to the northwest. It covers an area of 30,528 km2 (11,787 sq mi) and has a population of more than 11.5 million, making it the 22nd most densely populated country in the world and the 6th most densely populated country in Europe, with a density of 376/km2 (970/sq mi). Belgium is part of an area known as the Low Countries, historically a somewhat larger region than the Benelux group of states, as it also included parts of northern France. The capital and largest city is Brussels; other major cities are Antwerp, Ghent, Charleroi, Liège, Bruges, Namur, and Leuven.

Brussels, officially the Brussels-Capital Region, is a region of Belgium comprising 19 municipalities, including the City of Brussels, which is the capital of Belgium. The Brussels-Capital Region is located in the central portion of the country and is a part of both the French Community of Belgium and the Flemish Community, but is separate from the Flemish Region and the Walloon Region.

Bolivia, officially the Plurinational State of Bolivia, is a landlocked country located in western-central South America. It is bordered by Brazil to the north and east, Paraguay to the southeast, Argentina to the south, Chile to the southwest and Peru to the west. The seat of government and executive capital is La Paz, while the constitutional capital is Sucre. The largest city and principal industrial center is Santa Cruz de la Sierra, located on the Llanos Orientales, a mostly flat region in the east of the country.
