Miss Grand Brazil 2023 will be the fifth edition of the Miss Grand Brazil beauty pageant, scheduled to be held on June 29, 2023, at Hotel Sibara Flat & Conventions in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina. Candidates chosen through either the state pageants or national preliminary casting held directly by a central licensee will compete for the title,[1][2] the winner of whom will be crowned by Isabella Menin of Alto Cafezal, Miss Grand Brazil 2022, and will represent the country at Miss Grand International 2023, to be held in Vietnam on October 25.[3][4][5]

Miss Grand Brazil 2022 is the fourth Miss Grand Brazil pageant. The competition was held on July 28, 2022 at the Theater Caesb in Brasília, Federal District. Lorena Rodrigues of Minas Gerais crowned her successor Isabella Menin of Alto Cafezal, São Paulo at the end of the event. The winner will go on to represent the Brazil at the Miss Grand International 2022, scheduled to be held on October 25, 2022 at Sentul International Convention Center in Bogor Regency of West Java province, Indonesia.

Miss Grand Brazil 2022 was the fourth edition of the Miss Grand Brazil beauty pageant, held on July 28, 2022, at the theater Caesb in Águas Claras, Federal District. Thirty-one contestants, who qualified for the national stage either through state contests held by the Concurso Nacional de Beleza or being appointed, competed for the title, of whom a 26-year-old financial planner and international model from Marília representing the Alto Cafezal, Isabella Menin, was elected the winner. She then represented Brazil at the Miss Grand International 2022 held that year on October 25 in Indonesia, and won the first place, making her the first Brazilian representative to win the Miss Grand International title.

Miss Grand International 2023 will be the 11th edition of the Miss Grand International pageant, to be held on October 25, 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This will be the second time for Vietnam to host the contest; the first was in 2017 at the Vinpearl Convention Center on Phú Quốc island. The winner of Miss Grand International 2022, Isabella Menin of Brazil will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Selection of contestants

Overview

As per the data collected in the regional pageants section below, seven contestants have been confirmed to participate, three of whom were the winners of the Miss Grand regional pageants (A1), including the representatives of Minas Gerais, Paraná, and Zona da Mata Mineira;[6] the other two, the representatives of Santa Catarina and São Paulo, obtained the Miss Grand title as the supplementary award in Miss Brazil CNB's regional pageants (B1),[2][7] and one, the representative of Pernambuco, was appointed after obtaining the runner-up title at the CNB state pageant (B2),[8] while remaining one, Paraíba's representative, was appointed to the position without participating in the respective local pageant.[9]

Regional pageants

Several Brazilian states organized Miss Grand state pageants separately to select representatives for the Miss Grand Brazil 2023 contest, such as Paraná, Minas Gerais, Sergipe;[10][11] moreover, tertiary-level contests were also observed, such as Miss Grand Nova Iguaçu, with the winners representing their communities in the state-level pageants.[12][13]
