On June 1, 2022, Smith stepped down as CEO to become executive chairman, and was replaced by Raj Subramaniam. He is considered one of the most successful transportation entrepreneurs in the world.

The firm does not disclose the exact requirements to receive an invitation to carry the card. The Centurion Card is minted out of anodized titanium, laser-engraved, and accented with stainless steel.
