2023 UTEP Miners football team

The 2023 Jacksonville State Gamescocks football team will represent Jacksonville State University as a member of Conference USA (C-USA) during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Gamecocks will be led by second-year head coach Rich Rodriguez and play home games at the Burgess–Snow Field at JSU Stadium in Jacksonville, Alabama.

Burgess–Snow Field at JSU Stadium is a 24,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Jacksonville, Alabama. It opened in 1947 and is home to the Jacksonville State Gamecocks football team. It was also home to the Jacksonville High School Golden Eagles football team until 2004, when they moved to a new stadium on the high school campus. It also served as home to Jacksonville Christian Academy's football team from 2005 until September 27, 2007, when JCA opened an on campus football field.

The 2023 Incarnate Word Cardinals football team will represent the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) as a member of the Southland Conference during the 2023 NCAA Division I FCS football season. The Cardinals play their home games at Gayle and Tom Benson Stadium in San Antonio, Texas. They are led by first-year head coach Clint Killough.

The 2023 Arizona Wildcats football team will represent the University of Arizona as a member of the Pacific-12 Conference during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Wildcats are expected to be led by Jedd Fisch in his third year as their head coach.

The 2023 UNLV Rebels football team will represent the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as a member of the Mountain West Conference during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Rebels expect to be led by Barry Odom in his first year as UNLV's head coach. The Rebels will play their home games at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.

The 2023 Louisiana Tech Bulldogs football team will represent Louisiana Tech University in the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Panthers will be led by second-year head coach Mike MacIntyre and play home games at the Riccardo Silva Stadium in Westchester, Florida.

The 2023 New Mexico State Aggies football team will represent New Mexico State University in the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Aggies will play their home games at Aggie Memorial Stadium in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and will compete as a first year member of Conference USA. They will be led by second-year head coach Jerry Kill.

The Battle of I-10 is the name given to the New Mexico State–UTEP football rivalry. It is a college rivalry game between New Mexico State University (NMSU) and the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). It is called the Battle of I-10 because the two universities are located along Interstate 10 connecting Las Cruces and El Paso. The teams compete for the Silver Spade Trophy and the Mayor's Cup.
