Kukolj won World Cups in Lisbon in 2012 and won the Panam Open in San Salvador in 2014 & Mediterranean Games in 2013. He won European bronze as Junior and U23. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, in the men's 90 kg.
